 NHS treating record number of young people for eating disorders

  • Almost 10,000 children and young people have started treatment for eating disorders between April and December of 2021.
  • This represents an increase of 25% compared to the same period the year before and an increase of two-thirds before the pandemic.

One-off £200 energy support payment to be rolled out

  • Communities Minister, Deirdre Hargey, announced £55m energy payment support scheme from 10th March 2022.
  • It will provide support for people and families struggling to meet rising energy costs, with global supply chain issues leading to price of oil and gas skyrocketing.
