Twitter Circle may be starting to roll out to more users

Cinemas now accepting digital ID cards

  • The UK Cinema Association – which includes Cineworld, Odeon, Showcase Cinemas and Vue are partnering with digital ID firm Yoti.
  • The Yoti app will be accepted as a proof of age for children and adults to gain entry to movies with an age restriction.
  • The app captures an image of the user’s face and scans an ID document such as a passport to verify identity.

Gucci built a persistent town inside of Roblox

  • The fashion brand Gucci is releasing a persistent space in Roblox called ‘Gucci Town’.
  • The space features a garden, linking together other areas such as a space for mini games, a café, and a virtual store where players can purchase virtual Gucci gear.
  • The Gucci gear will be wearable by the players’ Roblox character in-game.
